The KOM is used as a modular communication system with an operating and visualization level. It is used as a networked control center to which numerous subsystems are connected. DESCRIPTION
The KOM contains three slots as cassettes: The power supply with the display unit (42TE) in front of it, the computer cassette (36 TE) and the patch panel (8TE). All modules are set up separately from each other.
The display unit contains a 6.5 “VGA TFT display with protective screen or optional resistive touchscreen and a separate power switch. It remains switched off in automatic continuous operation. The power supply unit is available with a filter, power switch and IEC socket in 24VDC or 95-265VAC.
The computer unit consists of a single board computer (single European map with exchangeable ETX CPU module) that is connected to an 8-way Ethernet switch and a modem.
